In addition to our Central Texas focus, we maintain a broad footprint across more than 15 markets statewide, with active transactions in eight states beyond Texas—providing clients with both local expertise and national reach.

Our Team

Connally McKay

Connally McKay is a lifelong Texan with a deep-rooted understanding of land, development, and the evolving dynamics of growth markets across Central Texas.

He brings a multidisciplinary background spanning land brokerage, development strategy, and project execution, with particular expertise in identifying and advancing opportunities from raw land through entitlement and development. His experience includes working with landowners, developers, and investors to unlock value through thoughtful planning, positioning, and execution.

Connally’s approach is grounded in a long-term perspective—balancing market opportunity with disciplined decision-making to create durable value. His local knowledge, combined with hands-on development experience, allows him to guide clients through complex transactions with clarity and confidence.

Kevin Miller

Kevin Miller, a principal at Sierra Commercial, brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate and banking experience to the team. A Texas A&M finance grad, he's worked both sides of the capital stack throughout a career spent at the intersection of finance and real estate. Kevin's path has taken him from JPMorgan Private Bank to leadership roles at Situs, Cohen Financial, and Trimont, where he was a member of the firm's Global Advisory Council.

Kevin currently heads the real estate transaction business for an AI-focused commercial real estate firm. He oversees originations, partners with the CEO on capital raising, and served on the credit committee for an affiliated life insurance company until it was sold. He also heads real estate for a leading loan sale advisor, providing pricing guidance that has helped banks successfully execute loan pool sales across the country. Additionally, he advises a CPACE lender on its asset management function across a portfolio of sophisticated capital structures. Add in the retail tenant representation deals he's led, and Kevin brings a genuinely holistic view, spanning site selection through capital structure, origination, loan workouts, and asset management. Having financed, underwritten, or transacted in more than 45 states and three countries, he brings a national outlook to every Sierra engagement.

Real Estate Forum named Kevin to its 40 Under 40 in 2010, and Rotary International has recognized him as a Paul Harris Fellow. He lives in Whitefish, Montana.

Her background includes building and scaling brands across omnichannel environments, developing go-to-market strategies, and advising organizations on positioning, growth infrastructure, and customer engagement. She has worked across startups and established organizations, helping translate complex offerings into clear, compelling market narratives.

At the firm, Dana leads brand strategy, positioning, and client experience—ensuring that opportunities are not only well-structured, but also effectively brought to market. Her ability to integrate strategic thinking with execution supports both deal velocity and long-term value creation.
